Emission Metering Shows Radical Results Towards Reduction

Amsterdam, NL 19.11.2010
During the State of Social Media Summit a drastic reduction of a vehicles emission have been proven to be possible. Our competition showed that a same car, driven over the same city track, packed in a competitive "good driver - bad driver" game, can make a 65% difference in emissions.

From the 18 drivers, sourced from the public, the winner steered the Volkswagen Polo toward a perfect 166gCO2/km | D label, while the least efficient driver scored a meager 274gCO2/km | G label. An absolute difference of 108gCO2/km or 65%.
